Our location allows our rides to wind through the pristine beauty of both the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and the Tonto National Forrest- making us the only Scottsdale ranch who can get you away from the city to enjoy the true beauty of the Sonoran desert.

We are known for our wonderfully conditioned & well mannered horses for riders of all ages. All of our group trail rides have a maximum of 6 to 12 riders per group, which allows your wrangler or wranglers to provide the best personalized experience possible.

Throughout your horseback ride, your wrangler will entertain and educate you by talking about our horse herd, the desert cactus/plant & animal life you will see along your ride, and the lore of the area.

All of our saddles have a canvas horn bag hanging on the front of your saddle to accommodate your camera, wallet, car keys & complimentary water. (No Back Packs or Purses, please) Having your camera available allows you to capture pictures of the towering saguaros and the beautiful scenery. Have your wrangler be your photographer by taking a picture of you on your horse for a keepsake or proof of your Arizona experience.

Cowhand Adventure Package: 10:00am Only
Our world class Cowhand Adventure Package includes an approximately 1 hour trail ride into the Majestic Sonoran Desert. Following your trail ride, we invite you to experience our Authentic Cowboy Games, which include: hanging horseshoe ring toss, tomahawk throwing, bow & arrow archery, and stationary steer roping.
Depending on your ride time, you can either begin or end your adventure with a classic cowboy lunch of mesquite grilled hamburger, juicy chicken breast, or plump hot dog; accompanied by cowboy beans, corn on the cob, potato salad, chips, dessert, and unlimited non-alcoholic beverages.
Total adventure time: 2-2.5 hours

Trail Boss Adventure Package: 9:00am Only

Reservations are Required!
We do have a 240 lb. weight limit and children must be 6 yrs. old to ride. (No double riding for the safety of the child & parent).
We suggest wearing long pants, closed toed shoes & hats (hats must be tight).
Sunscreen is recommended. Bottled water is provided. Don’t forget your camera!
